Geoffrey, The two Royal Caribbean Ships are OASIS and ALLURE. They are the exact same. One will be in the Western Caribbean and the other in the Eastern Caribbean.  We prefer the EASTERN Caribbean where it stops in St. Martin - Dutch Side.

They both depart from Ft. Lauderdale for 7 day cruises.

When you call Royal Caribbean ask for ADJOINING rooms. They have cabins with a door that joins two cabins.

Avoid the front and rear of the ship.

We prefer deck #8 as that leads directly onto the Central Park.

Also, we prefer rooms overlooking the ocean and not those that overlook the center of the ship.

We prefer to eat dinner in the rear of the ship in the same room where they serve breakfast and lunch. The main formal dinning room is not much fun.

This is the Central Park in the center of the ship on deck #8

Philipsburg is the name of the main town in St. Maarten.
