77 East 12th Street at the corner of 4th Avenue (Park Avenue South), two blocks south of Union Square

The red colored wall above did not exist when we were there, but there was a small floor to ceiling book case that I have colored blue.
This made it so that from the living room we could see out the bedroom window on the right.
That view was to the north and we had a great view of the Empire State Building and the rest of Manhattan north of us.

AFTER we departed they built the wall between the living room and the bedroom so that the apartment would officially be a ''one bedroom'' apartment rather than a ''studio'' apartment

The roof area available to all tenants of the building

The bedroom. Please note the wood frame on the wall to the left of the mirror. The window on the right has a fantastic view up town to the Empire State Building and more.

The wood frame mentioned in the PRIOR photo is the same wood frame above the white sofa.
In other words, the bedroom in behind the sofa.
When we lived there that wall did NOT exist.
There was a floor to ceiling book case just to the right of the wood frame and the wall in the small hall did exist.
The benefit was that from the living room we had the same great view north that the bedroom enjoyed.
That window to the left of the sofa looks at a very unattractive brick wall about 20 feet away on the neighboring building.

This view is directly to the right of the prior photo
